Job Description

The Context

ELDI is at a defining point in its development. Following the merger of Vónin Aquaculture, Mørenot Aquaculture and Fiizk Protection, the company is now consolidating its operations, strengthening its financial architecture and building the foundation for scalable, profitable growth across its international footprint.

As part of this transformation, ELDI is establishing a new group headquarters in the Oslo region (Lysaker / Drammen). The incoming CFO will be based at this new location and will have the mandate to manage the finance function – recruiting, structuring and developing a high-performing finance organization that can support the company’s international ambitions.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and carry full ownership of the group’s financial leadership. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational depth, requiring a leader who can act as both architect and executor.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Define and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead group accounting, consolidation and IFRS compliance across entities.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes.
  • Establish financial frameworks for product and project delivery, ensuring visibility on project economics, cost-to-complete and margin performance across the portfolio.
  • Strengthen cost control, margin discipline and financial transparency.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors and key external stakeholders.
  • Support refinancing initiatives and capital structure decisions.
  • Drive digitalisation and process improvement within the finance function.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the CEO and leadership team.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as CFO or senior finance leader in an industrial, technical or multi-entity company.
  • Strong expertise in group accounting, consolidation, and IFRS financial reporting.
  • Experience with product- and project-based business models, including financial control and margin visibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop finance organizations from the ground up.
  • Experience with banking relationships, financing structures, and capital processes.
  • Exposure to listed company environments, including investor relations and governance standards.
