Senior SAS / Instrument Engineer

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a Senior SAS/Instrument Engineer in Bergen.

Aker Solutions takes care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to the end of production, Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.

What will you be doing?

• Work primarily with SAS systems, ensuring solid instrument engineering integration.
• Design, develop, and follow up SAS system solutions in line with client requirements.
• Contribute to EPCIC modification and maintenance projects as SAS engineer.
• Produce and maintain key engineering documentation (e.g., F&G, C&E, SCD, logic diagrams).
• Interface with vendors, review technical documentation, and participate in FAT/testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure progress.
• Support studies, system design, and package deliveries within automation and control.
• Ensure quality, HSSE compliance, and follow-up of changes within own discipline.
