Do you want to be our next Instrument Engineer?
As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is looking for an Instrument Engineer in Bergen. Aker Solutions takes care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective, ensuring safe operations, optimizing field utilization, and enabling field life-extensions. We are focused on decarbonization and brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
What will you be doing?
- General field instrument engineering (system design, automation and control engineering, fire & gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning and calculations, field instrumentation).
- Preparation of MTOs and requisitions.
- Preparation of installation job-cards.
- Input to other disciplines and coordination with suppliers and the client.
- Establish, maintain, and report progress for activity schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and cost efficiency.
- Engineering inputs to work packages and as-built documentation.
- Responsibility for Quality and HSSE in own projects.
- Identification of changes and input to change requests.
- Offshore survey.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience from projects.
- Bachelor’s or Technical degree in a relevant field.
- Possession of an offshore certificate (GSK).
- Knowledge of NORSOK and relevant standards/regulations for the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
- Ex basic and Exi (intrinsic safety) certification/training.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
