Quality Engineer

The role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer who will drive quality across our products, suppliers, and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems and processes, leading root cause investigations, supporting production and supplier quality, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and QA/QC procedures for components and assemblies.
• Make sure the same processes are implemented across different sites.
• Lead production troubleshooting and failure analysis at the component and system levels for incoming inspection and assembly line issues.
• Lead customer and supplier audits, conduct internal and external quality audits, surveillance inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Review supplier quality documentation, material testing reports, and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify quality risks and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Provide quality training, mentoring, and guidance to project personnel and suppliers.
• Apply basic working knowledge of core quality tools such as FMEA, 8D problem-solving, and CAPA.
• Regularly communicate production and supplier quality performance and report issues as they arise.
• Travel offsite as needed to understand and address quality issues as experienced by our customers.
