Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive communicator who enjoys turning complex ideas into engaging content and finding the right message for the right audience. In this role, you will help create and deliver content that strengthens our brand, supports our business goals, and engages customers and stakeholders across a variety of channels.
This is a temporary position until the end of November 2026, with the possibility of an extension.
Gard is on an exciting journey. We provide insurance cover and loss prevention services to large parts of the world’s maritime industry, and sustainability is at the core of our mission. As a leading marine insurer, we need the right products, services, and expertise to support the maritime industry through the transition ahead.
In this role, you will:
- Create content for a range of platforms, including our website, social media, newsletters and presentations
- Write, edit, and adapt content for different audiences and formats
- Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to turn business knowledge into clear and compelling communication
- Support corporate communication initiatives and campaigns
We perform background checks on all relevant candidates through our partner EY.
Requirements
- Relevant education in communication, journalism, marketing, media, or a related field is required.
- You must possess excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Norwegian.
- You should have a passion for creating high-quality content across different platforms and formats.
- You must have an eye for good storytelling and the ability to make complex topics easy to understand.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build good working relationships are essential.
