Front Line Support Engineer (Control System / Electrical Engineer)

As a Front Line Support Engineer, you will provide continuous technical and engineering support to ongoing offshore operations and time-critical workshop activities. The role is central to live operational support, enabling high-quality decision-making and multidisciplinary engineering responses across drilling and well operations. This position focuses on operational execution and hands-on technical problem solving, supporting offshore crews and operations in real time rather than project administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 technical and engineering support to ongoing offshore operations on a rotational basis.
• Act as a multidisciplinary engineering resource supporting drilling, hydraulics, automation, and electrical systems.
• Support planning and execution of EDR services for active and upcoming operations.
• Communicate directly with offshore crews during live operations to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Handle technical escalations and problem-solving in high-critical operational situations.
• Contribute to procedures, risk assessments, contingency planning, and method statements.
• Monitor operational performance and provide input on efficiency, risks, and improvements.
• Document troubleshooting activities and follow up after issue resolution.
