Aquabyte is on a mission to revolutionize the sustainability and efficiency of aquaculture. By making fish farming more efficient and viable, we aim to promote healthy production of low carbon protein and mitigate one of the biggest causes of climate change. We are currently focused on helping salmon farmers better understand their fish population through custom underwater cameras, computer vision, and machine learning.

The role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer who will drive quality across our products, suppliers, and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems and processes, leading root cause investigations, supporting production and supplier quality, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and QA/QC procedures.
• Lead production troubleshooting and failure analysis at the component and system levels.
• Lead customer and supplier audits and conduct internal/external quality reviews.
• Review supplier quality documentation, material testing reports, and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify quality risks and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Provide quality training, mentoring, and guidance to project personnel and suppliers.
