About the role
As a Marketing Specialist for Distributor Markets, you’ll work in a multidisciplinary team responsible for enabling, coordinating, and elevating marketing execution through Laerdal’s distributor network in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The role acts as a bridge between central marketing and local distributor marketing teams, ensuring consistent adoption of Laerdal’s marketing strategy while respecting local market needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute EMEA distributor marketing strategies by co-creating annual plans, leading go-to-market (GTM) launches, and adapting segmentation, positioning, and messaging to local market needs.
- Serve as the marketing partner for distributor sales teams, owning launch enablement, maintaining sales toolkits, delivering training, and providing market insights to improve sales effectiveness and win rates.
- Drive distributor-focused campaigns and co-marketing initiatives, including digital programs, webinars, congresses, events, and activities that generate end-customer demand and adoption.
- Build distributor marketing capabilities through coaching, training, and best-practice sharing in campaign management, digital marketing, branding, messaging, and use of marketing tools and platforms.
- Manage distributor relationships and performance, participating in business reviews, coordinating cross-functional launch readiness, tracking KPIs, and reporting market, competitive, and performance insights to regional and global stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, channel/distributor marketing, product marketing, demand generation, or field marketing.
- Experience supporting product launches, go-to-market activities, and integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing, webinars, social media, content marketing, and lead generation.
- Fluency in English is required, with additional regional languages considered an advantage.
