The opportunity

As a Sales Engineer at Hitachi Energy you will be a key resource in sales of transformers to customers several segments such as industry, data center, oil and gas, grid operators and power producers.

How you'll make an impact

  • Work with global sales teams to deliver tailored transformer solutions.
  • Prepare and present tenders in response to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Stay updated on product developments, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Represent Hitachi at industry events and build client relationships.

Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
  • You have previous experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or solution architecture.
  • You possess strong communication and presentation skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You are a collaborative team player with proven problem-solving skills and a strong customer focus.
  • You are willing to travel as needed for the role.
  • You are proficient in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written.
