In Norway, Semco Maritime AS is located at Hanøytangen and in Stavanger, where we run our Service & Maintenance department, Rig Tech department and our manpower company. At Hanøytangen we work with rig maintenance and maritime projects while taking an active role in the green shift by developing energy storage and hybrid systems. At other on- & offshore locations we perform service, maintenance and installation work for our international customers.

We are looking to further strengthening our growing organization at Hanøytangen.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

As a Discipline Leader you will be responsible for managing assigned scopes within your respective area of expertise. Multidiscipline technical capabilities and background is considered advantageous. The projects typically involve service and upgrade tasks on floating units such as drilling rigs and ships. They cover all disciplines and project phases. The position reports to the Head of Projects, and you will be based in our office at Hanøytangen, with some expected project related travelling.

Wanted qualifications:

  • Higher technical education
  • Experience from rig or marine projects
  • Solid technical background
  • Experience in handling scopes from a-z
  • Practical experience from both on and offshore projects
  • Knowledge to shipbuilding standards

Requirements

  • You must hold a higher technical education degree.
  • You must have documented experience from rig or marine projects.
  • You must possess a solid technical background with practical experience from both on and offshore projects.
  • You must be able to manage scopes of varied size and complexity, including sub-suppliers.
  • You must have knowledge of shipbuilding standards.
  • You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
