Business Innovation Partner

Zeppelin Power Systems Norway AS is the exclusive distributor of CAT® engines and generator systems in Norway. We are looking for a Business Innovation Partner to join our international team and actively shape the future of power and energy solutions. In this role, you will work at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and business, supporting leadership teams and colleagues in transforming ideas into validated customer propositions and new business opportunities.

About Area 52 & The Role

Area 52 is Power Systems’ dedicated innovation hub. We turn ideas into tangible business impact, from early concepts and prototypes to scalable solutions embedded in the organization. As a Business Innovation Partner, you will act as a strategic sparring partner for our local business units while also driving selected initiatives hands-on from research and ideation through implementation and scaling.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of innovation initiatives in close collaboration with business and functional stakeholders.
  • Coaching and enabling teams to deliver measurable outcomes, from prototypes to market-ready solutions.
  • Supporting management teams in shaping innovation and digital strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Designing and facilitating workshops and structured working sessions for diverse groups.
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure efficient execution.
  • Defining and safeguarding the innovation vision and roadmap for Power Systems.
  • Advising leadership on scaling innovation and embedding it sustainably across the organization.
  • Identifying emerging opportunities within digitalization, AI, sustainability, and new business models.

Requirements

  • You have 3–6 years of experience within innovation, transformation, business development, strategy, consulting, or a comparable environment.
  • You are familiar with Design Thinking and agile ways of working.
  • You are skilled in project management and stakeholder management and bring structure to complex topics.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are willing to travel internationally to our legal entities in Sweden and Denmark.
