Job Description
Our Applied Technologies team is looking for a motivated and commercially driven Sales Manager who will contribute to the future growth of our technology, products, and market presence. As part of the Applied Technologies team, consisting of sales, engineering, and project management professionals, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities in new and existing markets, with a particular focus on the Renewable and Defence sectors.
How will you do this?
- Act as the primary contact for existing and potential customers during the early stages of the customer journey.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders in targeted industries.
- Develop a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and marketing functions to support business growth and product development.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to increase lead generation and market penetration.
- Meet with customers locally and internationally to understand their challenges and present our technology and solutions as a potential fit.
- Support the expansion of Applied Technologies into new and unexplored market segments.
- Participate in exhibitions, industry events, customer meetings, and technical presentations.

Requirements
- Previous experience within technical sales, business development, or account management is an advantage.
- Technical education and/or relevant technical experience is required.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Proficiency with ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.
