Bid Manager - DNV Cyber

DNV Cyber is strengthening its commercial capabilities to support an ambitious growth strategy focused on helping customers improve the resilience of critical infrastructure through cybersecurity. The Bid Manager will play a critical role in improving how DNV Cyber wins business.

This is a dual-purpose role combining hands-on delivery of complex bids with the development of scalable bid capabilities across the organization. The successful candidate will help create a more structured, consistent and efficient approach to bidding—enabling teams to develop high-quality proposals at scale, while directly supporting high-value opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Bid capability and process improvement: Develop and maintain practical tools, templates and guidance; establish clear, consistent bidding processes; capture lessons learned; explore opportunities to use AI and automation.
  • Complex bid management: Lead and coordinate complex, high-value and multi-service bids; structure and manage cross-functional bid teams; ensure proposals meet high standards of quality and customer relevance.
  • Collaboration and stakeholder alignment: Partner with sales, technical experts, and delivery teams; act as a trusted advisor to bring structure and discipline to complex opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in bid management, proposal management, or tender management in a B2B services environment.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder bids.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to structure work and drive progress across teams.
  • Strong experience in building, establishing, and improving organizational bidding capabilities and processes.
  • Excellent written English and ability to develop clear, high-quality proposal content.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including understanding of pricing and proposal positioning.
