Chef - Full Time Permanent Position
Are you a passionate and ambitious chef looking to join one of Norway’s most iconic hotels? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to become part of the kitchen team at Restaurant Palmen, located within the legendary Grand Hotel Oslo by Scandic.
About Restaurant Palmen
Restaurant Palmen is one of the signature dining venues at Grand Hotel Oslo. Known for its classic elegance and high standards, Palmen offers guests a refined culinary experience built on quality ingredients, strong craftsmanship, creativity, and tradition.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard in accordance with the restaurant’s concepts, menus, and quality expectations.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team in daily operations and service.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new dishes, menus, and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure that food safety, hygiene routines, and kitchen cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Support a positive and professional team culture through good communication and collaboration.

Requirements
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- You possess solid knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and professional kitchen equipment.
- You are passionate about food and quality with strong attention to detail.
- You work well both independently and as part of a team.
- You are structured, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional chef certificate is preferred.
