Job Description
Chief Financial Officer
Aziwell is an international high-tech industrial company headquartered in Trondheim, with local operations in Europe, North America, South America, and Australia. We are a growing company and have been recognized as a “Gazelle company” for several years. In 2025, we were also awarded “Best International Company of the Year” in Mid-Norway.
At Aziwell, you will find a strong professional environment with engaged and ambitious colleagues. We actively promote an innovative culture characterized by openness, collaboration, continuous improvement, curiosity, and proactivity.
This ability to innovate is exactly what has made Aziwell a leading player in directional drilling technology, particularly aimed at exploration and infrastructure projects. We work closely with world-leading mining and drilling companies and deliver technology to several of the largest global players.
The Role
The company is entering a new phase of growth. As we expand our international presence, strengthen our organization and continue investing in new technology, we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer who will help build the financial foundation for the next stage of Aziwell's development.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team and work closely with both the Board and senior management. You will ensure that the company has the financial insight, governance and discipline required to support sustainable growth, while contributing actively to the strategic decisions that shape the business.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building as much as managing. As the company grows, you will further develop the finance function, strengthen financial planning and performance management, ensure robust governance and compliance, and secure the financial capacity needed to support continued international expansion.
Requirements
- Higher education in finance, economics, accounting or a related discipline.
- Broad financial leadership experience from an international business, group structure or similarly complex organization.
- Strong understanding of financial management, governance and compliance.
- Experience supporting commercial and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
