Job Description
Business Development Manager
Main purpose of the role: To establish and retain business opportunities for ICR’s Specialist Repair business in Norway, which includes Technowrap Engineered Composites, Quickflange Weldless Connectors and INSONO.
The primary focus for this role will be business development and will involve obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships, whilst growing the business within Norway, to increase revenue from sales.
Main tasks:
- Drive new business sales to deliver the Business Development strategy and secure revenues.
- Achieving sales targets within the region.
- Identify new leads, partners and industries in order to generate business.
- Assist in the development of a new market strategy, including market research and mapping.
- Manage key strategic accounts and partners.
- Develop a comprehensive pipeline of opportunities using Pipedrive CRM.
- Carry out weekly forecasting and report on business opportunities.
- Represent ICR at conferences, trade shows and networking events.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering annual revenue targets.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
- Ensure annual sales targets and strategic objectives are met or exceeded.
- Develop business in new sectors and industries.
- Recognise and adhere to all Company and HSEQ policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Sales and Business Development capacity is required.
- Prior experience within the Oil and Gas or Integrity & Maintenance sector is preferred.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills are essential.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are required.
- Must possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel regularly.
