As a world‑leading provider of subsea technology, we enable responsible resource development while helping accelerate the shift to a more sustainable future. To strengthen this mission, we are now looking for a Project Specialist to join our department in Ågotnes.
About the Ågotnes Site
Our department in Ågotnes was established in 1994. We support subsea projects from cradle to grave. We provide technical services, onshore and offshore, during Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning of Subsea Production Systems. We have in-house workshop facilities for Maintenance, Repair, Refurbishment, High-Pressure Testing and Pits, and Electronic Laboratories for control interfaces.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate equipment preparation, tracking, and delivery to ensure on-time completion.
- Work closely with engineering teams to clarify technical requirements and support execution.
- Collaborate with project leads to maintain progress, manage priorities, and meet milestones.
- Monitor work packages, identify risks or delays, and drive corrective actions.
- Contribute to more efficient internal processes and higher service quality.
- Ensure safe and compliant project execution according to HSE and quality requirements.
- Maintain alignment across workshop, engineering, and project functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred, though relevant hands-on experience can qualify.
- Experience with project coordination, planning, or follow-up from start to finish is required.
- Ability to learn subsea products and services quickly and adapt to new technical topics.
- Strong understanding of HSE and quality requirements in a project environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as SAP, Primavera, or PRINCE is considered an advantage.
