On behalf of Heli-One Norway, we are seeking an experienced Safety & Compliance Manager to take on a key role within the operational management team. This is an opportunity to influence safety culture, operational performance and regulatory compliance in one of the world's leading helicopter maintenance organisations. Reporting directly to the Accountable Manager, you will work closely with operational leaders, regulatory authorities and CHC's global Safety & Risk organisation to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be nominated as both Compliance Monitoring Manager and Safety Manager in accordance with EASA Part-145 and other CAA's Heli-One is working for. You will report directly to the Accountable Manager and be a key member of the operational management team, partnering with leaders across the organisation to strengthen safety, compliance and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Manage and develop the Compliance Monitoring System.
  • Lead internal audits and follow up corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with EASA Part-145 and applicable aviation regulations.
  • Act as the primary contact with regulatory authorities.
  • Advise management on safety, compliance and risk management.
  • Analyse safety trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote a proactive reporting and learning culture.
  • Support operational leaders in strengthening safety performance.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be able to satisfy the qualification requirements for nomination under EASA Part-145.
  • The successful candidate must be eligible for approval by the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
  • Minimum five years of relevant professional experience, including at least two years within the aviation industry in an appropriate position.
  • Relevant engineering or technical degree, or equivalent qualifications/experience accepted under EASA requirements.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
