Project engineer subsea umbilical systems
The Subsea Umbilical and Cable Project Engineer is a member of the Subsea Production System (SPS) team / SURF Management team and reports to the SPS Lead/Manager. You will be responsible for all planning, engineering, and fabrication work to be performed for the Subsea Umbilical and Cable in accordance with Equinor and Project governing documentation, best practices, and applicable rules and regulations.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Concept and project development.
- Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements.
- Tendering and evaluation activities.
- Preparing of technical documents for project sanction, studies, and contract tendering.
- Contractor follow-up in project execution.
Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- You must possess in-depth knowledge of subsea umbilical systems including DCFO.
- You must have experience with project development.
- You must have experience with the follow-up of engineering and subsea contractors.
- You must have a minimum of 7 years of relevant subsea experience from Norwegian offshore projects.
- You must be proficient in English.
