100% Preschool Teacher (October 2026 - July 2027)
International School Of Bergen ECC is looking for a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. We provide an inclusive, safe, and inspiring learning environment for children aged 1-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure pedagogical work aligns with the Kindergarten Act, the Norwegian Framework Plan, and the IB-program.
- Plan, implement, document, and assess classroom activities.
- Monitor and report student progress to parents and guardians.
- Foster social, emotional, and academic growth through play-based activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with staff and participate in professional development.

Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Early Years Education or similar.
- Foreign education must be recognized by HK-dir as comparable to Norwegian preschool teacher status.
- Must possess English fluency with a minimum B2 proficiency.
- Must provide a police background check from your home country and any country resided in for 6+ months in the last 10 years.
- Must be willing to work with all age groups in the ECC.
