As a Drilling and Wells Engineer in our 2027 Graduate Program, you will be at the forefront of Aker BP's ambition to become the world's first AI-native E&P company. Through a series of rotations and a crucial offshore placement, you will develop the skills to handle complex technical problems and contribute to our goal of a 3x productivity improvement.
Key Program Components:
- Rotational learning: Rotate through diverse Drilling & Wells disciplines to gain a holistic understanding of the entire value chain.
- Offshore experience: Complete a 6-month mandatory offshore rotation, taking on concrete responsibilities on a live asset.
- AI & Data solutions: Apply data analysis and AI tools to solve tangible technical problems in drilling and well operations.
- Team collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute well projects from initial concept to completion.
- Productivity & Innovation: Actively contribute to our 3x productivity ambition by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
Your journey in Drilling and Wells:
You'll gain a holistic view by rotating through core disciplines including Drilling & Completion, Intervention & Well integrity, Subsea operations, Plug & Abandonment, and High-Pressure/High-Temp (HPHT) operations.

Requirements
- You must be a final year student or a recent graduate with an M.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering field.
- You should possess a strong fundamental engineering understanding and analytical skills.
- You must demonstrate curiosity for complex, real-world operational challenges.
- You must be eager to spend significant time offshore, gaining hands-on experience.
- You should be a collaborative team player with clear and concise communication skills.
