We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead and participate in projects focused on condition-based monitoring and remote diagnostics systems for new builds and retrofits. In this role, you will combine hands-on engineering with project coordination, working closely with customers, vessels, and advanced digital systems.
This is a great opportunity for both newly graduated engineers and candidates with some experience who want to develop at the intersection of engineering, digitalization, and customer collaboration.
Your role
As Project Engineer, you will take ownership of project deliveries from start to finish. You will work hands-on with system integration, configuration, and testing, while also ensuring strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver and coordinate projects within condition monitoring and remote diagnostics
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers during project execution
- Contribute to technical sales specifications and solution design
- Integrate and configure systems onboard vessels (industrial PCs, PLCs, networks)
- Perform testing and verification, including Factory Acceptance Tests
- Maintain project progress, documentation, and technical drawings

Requirements
- A degree in electrical, mechanical, automation or a related field is required.
- You must have an interest in or experience with industrial systems, automation, or marine applications.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and/or IT/OT environments is necessary.
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD or ePlan and Microsoft tools is expected.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- You must possess good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
