As a Petroleum Engineer in our 2027 Graduate Program, you will be at the forefront of Aker BP's ambition to become the world's first AI-native E&P company. Through a series of rotations and a crucial offshore placement, you will develop the skills to handle complex technical problems and contribute to our goal of a 3x productivity improvement by optimizing our petroleum systems.

Key Focus Areas:

• Digital transformation: Digitalize and optimize our petroleum systems, connecting data and advanced analytics to real-world production challenges.
• Production surveillance: Plan and utilize our surveillance systems to optimize hydrocarbon production and injection strategies.
• Opportunity identification: Identify and evaluate new production opportunities to maximize value creation from our assets.
• Well completion design: Design and evaluate well completions for optimal production and injection performance.
• Technology implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies to enhance business efficiency and sustainability.

Your journey in Petroleum Engineering

You'll gain a holistic view by rotating through the core disciplines that drive our petroleum systems, from reservoir characterization to production optimization, including Reservoir engineering, Production optimization, Data science in petroleum, Field development, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), and Integrated operations & AI.
