Job Description
Are you an experienced program manager, passionate about sustainability and looking for a new challenge? If so, this could be the role for you.
The Marine Stewardship Council is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Senior Program Manager to lead the delivery of its work across the dynamic North Atlantic region, covering key fishing nations including Iceland, Norway, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands.
The postholder will be responsible for delivering an ambitious program of work focused on strengthening certification uptake and retention across the region, strengthening relationships with fisheries and stakeholders, and supporting MSC’s presence in one of our most strategic fisheries regions. This includes working closely with existing partners across the North Atlantic, while fostering new networks and support for the MSC in the region.
Reporting to the Regional Director, North Europe, the successful candidate will play a key role within MSC’s outreach team, helping to translate strategic priorities into impactful delivery and contributing to MSC’s mission to drive change on the water through its nearly 30 year journey as a standard setter.
This post offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of the leading seafood certification organisations, making a real impact on the future health of the world’s oceans.
We’re an international organisation and our employees all demonstrate a level of cultural awareness, and value the diverse views and approaches relevant to the MSC program. The MSC is committed to flexible working. Depending on location, the successful candidate may need to work from an MSC office for a minimum of 50% of their working time each month. The remaining time can be worked from home.
