Key Responsibilities:
- Asset support: Provide day-to-day mechanical engineering support across our producing assets, focusing on rotating equipment and/or cranes & lifting.
- Offshore exposure: Gain hands-on experience with critical mechanical equipment through sporadic offshore trips.
- AI & Data insights: Apply data analysis and AI tools to solve tangible technical problems in mechanical equipment operations.
- Failure analysis: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on failure investigations and root-cause analyses.
- Project contribution: Contribute to modification and improvement projects, helping maintain equipment documentation and standards compliance.
Your journey in Mechanical Engineering:
You'll gain a holistic view by rotating through core mechanical engineering disciplines, including rotating equipment, cranes & lifting, mechanical integrity, maintenance optimization, and digitalization & AI.
Requirements
- Possesses a relevant M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Must be based in Norway and legally authorized to work for the full duration of the program.
- Strong English communication skills and willingness to learn Norwegian.
- Willingness and ability to travel offshore sporadically.
- A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical conduct.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to apply mechanical engineering principles to diagnose and solve complex operational challenges.
