Project Engineer Mechanical

We are looking for a Project Engineer Mechanical to join our Power & Controls Engineering department in Tranby. In this role, you will contribute to mechanical engineering delivery within defense projects, working within a structured engineering framework and supporting robust, compliant design solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

What will you be doing?

• Perform and deliver mechanical engineering scope in accordance with Aker Solutions’ Engineering policies and design processes.
• Execute mechanical engineering activities in accordance with established design processes and project requirements.
• Develop mechanical designs, analyses, and technical documentation to support compliant and efficient project delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and manufacturing to support efficient and feasible design solutions.
• Support design reviews, non‑conformance handling, and change management activities.
• Ensure design for manufacture, assembly, testing, and qualification within project requirements.
• Report progress, risks, and deviations to the Lead Engineer.
• Maintain models, drawings, and technical data in applicable systems and tools.
