As a Drilling and Wells Engineer in our 2027 Graduate Program, you will be at the forefront of Aker BP's ambition to become the world's first AI-native E&P company. Through a series of rotations and a crucial offshore placement, you will develop the skills to handle complex technical problems and contribute to our goal of a 3x productivity improvement.

  • Rotational learning: Rotate through diverse Drilling & Wells disciplines to gain a holistic understanding of the entire value chain.
  • Offshore experience: Complete a 6-month mandatory offshore rotation, taking on concrete responsibilities on a live asset.
  • AI & Data solutions: Apply data analysis and AI tools to solve tangible technical problems in drilling and well operations.
  • Team collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute well projects from initial concept to completion.
  • Productivity & Innovation: Actively contribute to our 3x productivity ambition by identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.

Your journey in Drilling and Wells

Requirements

  • Final year student or recent graduate with an M.Sc. degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Strong fundamental engineering understanding and analytical skills.
  • Curiosity for complex, real-world operational challenges.
  • Eagerness to spend significant time offshore, gaining hands-on experience.
  • Ability to connect calculations and data to practical decisions.
