This is a unique opportunity for Onsite Service Engineer to join our established Proton Therapy (PT) Service Team, onsite at Oslo University Hospital - Radiumhospitalet.
The Role
You will help support the smooth operation of the Proton Therapy System, an advanced form of cancer treatment technology that uses a particle accelerator to precisely target tumours, while protecting healthy tissue. Flexibility with shift working hours is required to ensure availability of proton therapy equipment during clinical hours within a collaborative onsite team.
- Support and maintain high-tech medical equipment in a live clinical environment.
- Performing Preventative Maintenance and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work hands-on with mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and help keep equipment running during clinical hours.

Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Technician qualification.
- Possess mechanical skills such as working with vacuum pumps or electric motors.
- Knowledge of electronic or electro-mechanical equipment is preferable.
- Fluent English language skills in both written and spoken form are essential.
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language is considered a plus.
