Job Description
TOMRA Reuse is looking for an Electrical Technician who will contribute to designing, developing, and improving electrical systems for our reusable packaging solutions. This is a role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of electrical engineering, industrial technology, automation, and product development - and who wants to work on solutions that will be scaled internationally.
You will join a small and agile team that works like a corporate startup, with short decision-making processes, real influence, and varied responsibilities. Here, you will work closely with the entire process - from concept and prototyping to testing, implementation, and further development at customer sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including cabling, motor drives, and safety solutions
- Design and interpret electrical schematics, and ensure compliance with relevant standards such as NEK, IEC, UL, and EMC
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to product and project specifications
- Coordinate with suppliers and support implementation and testing at customer sites
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in solutions from concept to delivery
You will also stay up to date on emerging technologies, build relationships with key suppliers and partners, and play an active role in establishing reuse as a strong and scalable business area.
At TOMRA Reuse, you will help shape the reuse solutions of the future - in a global technology company aiming to set new standards in the circular economy.
Requirements
- You hold an education within electrical or technical fields, such as a bachelor's degree, technical college, or similar.
- You have hands-on experience with electrical power systems, industrial control design, and motor/drive solutions.
- You possess experience from industrial or technical environments, such as machinery, production equipment, or automation.
- You are familiar with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Siemens NX, or Teamcenter.
- You have an analytical and structured approach, combined with strong communication skills in English.
