Eidel is an engineering company specializing in electronics, software, and system design for space and defense. Our expertise lies in remote sensing, remote control, and encryption. The markets we operate in are experiencing significant growth, and this is expected to continue in the coming decades. Eidel has a growing portfolio of projects and is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and support our continued growth.
About the role
As a Quality Engineer at Eidel, you will work with planning, coordinating, executing, and following up quality and product assurance activities in our projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers and lead system engineers to ensure that quality requirements are understood, implemented, and followed up throughout the project lifecycle.
In addition to project work, you will support our quality management function in maintaining and further developing Eidel’s Quality Management System (QMS). Typical tasks include updates to processes and procedures, participation in internal reviews, and support of supply chain quality activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage quality and product assurance requirements in projects
- Plan and execute product and quality assurance activities in projects
- Ensure verification and validation activities are performed according to plan
- Conduct project reviews according to our QMS
- Contribute to the review, maintenance, and improvement of Eidel’s QMS
- Support development and maintenance of product assurance processes
- Assist in maintaining quality and security processes across the organization
Requirements
- MSc in a technical or quality-related field or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality or product assurance.
- Experience with standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, AQAP-2110/2210, and/or ECSS.
- Professional working proficiency in English is required.
- Must be eligible for Norwegian security clearance (SECRET / NATO SECRET).
