Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Role

We are strengthening our product development team with an experienced Mechanical Engineer who can help take advanced electro-mechanical products from promising prototypes to robust, manufacturable, and scalable solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop electro-mechanical modules, assemblies, and product architecture for underwater use.
• Work across the full product development cycle: concept development, CAD design, prototype builds, testing, iteration, and production readiness.
• Help mature existing prototypes into robust commercial products by identifying failure modes and driving design refinements.
• Design for volume production, including materials, manufacturing methods, tolerance chains, sealing concepts, and assembly processes.
• Solve highly compact 3D integration problems across mechanics, optics, electronics, motors, and sensors.
• Participate in verification and reliability work, including testing in salt-water environments.
• Support supplier and manufacturing development, including DFM input and quality qualification.
