Job Description
Recruitment Consultant
This is your chance to grow into a true recruitment star while working with some of Scandinavia's most ambitious companies! Amby is the people team behind your people team. For over a decade, we've helped companies build world-class teams, while leading the shift into AI-powered recruitment.
We're now looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Oslo team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys commercial responsibility. As an Amby consultant, most of your time will be spent working on-site at our clients' offices, fully embedded in their teams.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Amby, you'll take full ownership of recruitment and advisory projects, combining strong execution and problem-solving with critical thinking, commercial drive and a genuine interest in AI and data to improve outcomes. You will:
- Lead recruitment projects end-to-end, independently owning everything from the initial job analysis and sourcing strategy to interview coordination, hiring decisions and candidate negotiations.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into effective recruitment strategies while aligning clearly on project KPIs and expectations.
- Attract, engage and retain candidates across multiple parallel processes, delivering a strong candidate experience.
- Apply AI-driven tools in your own work and contribute to Amby's evolving recruitment best practices.
- Take responsibility for coaching and guiding Talent Acquisition Consultants when working as part of a larger team.
Why join Amby?
Beyond the values that shape how we work, we're also a team that genuinely likes each other. We celebrate wins together, back each other up on the tough days, and don't take ourselves too seriously. Our ambition is to make you a recruitment and advisory star - giving you the exposure and real project ownership you need to grow from consultant into a true recruitment expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as psychology, HR, business, or economics.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including at least one year within tech recruitment.
- Proven track record of running processes independently, advising clients, and delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Strong account management skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.
