Are you an experienced HVAC professional with a passion for technical excellence, product development, and knowledge sharing? At Novenco AS, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical HVAC Technical Lead who will serve as our technical authority within HVAC equipment, supporting both engineering and business development activities.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority and subject matter expert in Mechanical HVAC Equipment.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products, providing guidance on product selection to the organization.
• Serve as a Technical Mentor to Engineering Execution and HVAC Engineering teams.
• Ensure engineering knowledge is captured, structured, and accessible across the organization; maintain up-to-date technical product information.
• Deliver technical training and onboarding of new Engineering Execution and HVAC Engineering team members.
• Maintain and update product selection software, and develop and manage engineering tools (both hardware and software).
• Act as Product Owner in line with the Product Categories and Responsibilities Matrix (AHU’s, FCU’s, Ventilation fans, Dampers, Ducting, Heat Recovery Units, etc.).
• Maintain awareness of product pricing levels and supplier landscape.
• Evaluate new product suppliers in coordination with the Procurement Department.
• Actively contribute to Business Development and Sales activities.
• Initiate and actively participate in R&D activities.
