Asset Reliability Manager

We are looking for an experienced leader who will continue develop the maintenance operations of the chocolate plant in Oslo and ensure that the site manufacturing can operate without interruption.

Purpose of the role

The Asset and Reliability Manager will lead and develop the full maintenance, asset management, and facility operations at our chocolate factory in Oslo. This is a key leadership role within the site leadership team, with full accountability for a team of 26 employees across maintenance, assets, and facility management.

The role will be instrumental in building and advancing Preventative and Predictive Maintenance strategies in cooperation with key stakeholders. You will drive an exciting change journey implementing and renewing the Progressive Maintenance Pillar within the IL6S program (Integrated Lean Six Sigma), while fostering a strong equipment reliability culture across the organization.

Main responsibilities

• Works cross functionally to develop and implement a strategic asset and reliability road-map and annual operating plan.
• Establish strong governance to review & control operational performance and continuous improvement plans.
• Lead and be accountable for all maintenance, asset, and facility operations, ensuring adherence to business continuity plans and regulations.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the maintenance and facility team towards implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 Sigma ways of working.
• As a member of the site leadership team, role model values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring, and capability building.
• Manage and develop your team and team structure to deliver on current and future business needs.
• Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships.
