Electro Engineer - Kollsnes
As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is looking for several Electro Engineers in Kollsnes. This is a project-based position with an end date in April 2031. Please note that this is not a rotation position.
What will you be doing?
- Follow up of Electrical Procurement Packages.
- Co-ordinate with suppliers and review documents and drawings.
- Provide engineering inputs to job packages.
- Handle as-builts of supplier drawings and red line mark-ups received from offshore.
- Be responsible for electrical system engineering for LV consumers and switchboards.
- Perform electrical calculations, such as short circuit calculations.
- Report to Discipline Lead and Engineering Manager on all matters of importance.
- Perform quality and HSSE checks in own projects.
- Ensure identification of changes and input to change requests.
- Conduct offshore surveys including field instrument engineering, system engineering, automation and control engineering, Fire & Gas systems engineering, layout design, cable dimensioning, and field instrumentation.
- Perform technical procurement activities, preparation of MTOs and requisitions, and preparation of installation job-cards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience from the oil and gas industry.
- Bachelor’s or technical degree (relevant experience may compensate for formal education).
- Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.
- Proven experience in supplier co-ordination and follow-up.
- Strong experience in as-builts of tags and drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
