Meeting & Events Staff - 50% contract

Are you a service star who loves to be where the action is? We are looking for a Conference Staff Member to join our team at The Edge Hotel in Tromsø. You are the go-to person who ensures our guests have a flawless experience from the first cup of coffee to the final presentation.

What you'll do:

As a Conference Staff member, you are the face of our meeting rooms and represent the Meeting & Events department in all their activities, meetings and events.

Your day will include:

• Welcoming guests and making them feel at home.
• Prepping the rooms - making sure furniture, snacks, and technology are 100% ready.
• Technical support - helping guests connect their devices to our systems and ensuring AV equipment works properly.
• Event flow - solving problems quickly to ensure meetings run smoothly.
• Coordination - working with all other hotel teams to keep everything on schedule.
• Physical work - moving furniture, desks, tables, chairs, and various equipment, as well as receiving hotel deliveries.

This is a permanent position for a 50% contract with a start date to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
