Solution Architect

Instech Solutions has been developing software for the marine and energy insurance industry for nearly 30 years. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Norwegian Hull Club, we combine long-term industry knowledge with technological ambition and financial stability.

Now we are entering an important phase in the development of our cloud-based platform for the marine and energy insurance industry. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who has held architectural responsibility in complex software environments. Combining architectural depth with a strong understanding of software development and products, as well as clearly communicating across disciplines.

You will be an important member of our Architecture Team, influencing architectural direction and technology choices across Instech. This is a hands-on role for someone who has experience as a Solution Architect and wants to stay close to development and implementation. You will translate business and product needs into sound technical solutions, evaluate alternatives and trade-offs, and ensure that architectural decisions work in practice.

What you will contribute to

• Take architectural ownership of your product area and influence decisions across Instech
• Work closely with product, business and developers from need to implementation
• Design scalable, secure and maintainable cloud solutions
• Help shape the next phase of the platform, where AI, data exchange and commercialization will become increasingly important

Our technology landscape is centered around Azure, C#, .NET, Blazor, Azure Kubernetes Service, Service Bus, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB and Azure SQL. We are building an event-driven architecture using Service Bus and REST APIs, and promote a strong DevOps culture using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub and ArgoCD.
