Senior Technical Safety Engineer

Head Energy is looking for a skilled/experienced Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join our team in Bergen.

Job Description

Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects, including:

• Passive Fire Protection (PFP) and Active Fire Protection (AFP)
• Area Classification and Ignition Source Control
• Fire and Gas Detection
• Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER)
• Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
• Definition of fluid groups, PED
• Working Environment Engineering and Environmental Care Engineering

Key responsibilities include:

• Interdisciplinary coordination, checks, IDC, and verifications.
• Perform work tasks according to the company's and the clients governing documentation.
• Give concise input regarding cost and plan activities for safety aspects of the project.
• Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews.
• Follow-up of client, vendors and 3rd Parties.
• Support and follow-up of engineers.
• Work actively for a good professional and social environment in the group.
• Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and experience transfer.
