Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects:
- Passive Fire Protection, PFP
- Active Fire Protection, AFP
- Area Classification and Ignition Source Control
- Fire and Gas Detection
- Escape, Evacuation and Rescue, EER
- Safety Integrity Level, SIL
- Definition of fluid groups, PED
- Working Environment Engineering
- Environmental Care Engineering
Interdisciplinary coordination, checks, IDC, and verifications. Perform work tasks according to the company's and the clients governing documentation. Give concise input regarding cost and plan activities for safety aspects of the project. Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews. Follow-up of client, vendors and 3rd Parties. Support and follow-up of engineers. Work actively for a good professional and social environment in the group. Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and experience transfer.
Requirements
- Master/Bachelor degree in technical safety or other related disciplines.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway.
- Experience working independently on V&M projects while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.
- Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills.
