Skilled Manufacturing and Assembly Operator

An exciting opportunity has opened in Kongsberg Discovery for a Manufacturing Operator in Mapping. In this role, you will work with quality assurance, assembly and testing of our high-technology hydroacoustic transducers, with opportunities to contribute to prototype development.

What you will be doing

• Assemble, test and inspect underwater sensors and related equipment.
• Ensure that products meet applicable quality standards.
• Report and follow up findings and non-conformities.
• Collaborate with the development department on next-generation sensors and prototypes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of products and production processes.
• Communicate findings, non-conformities and improvement opportunities to the team leader, product owners and relevant colleagues.
