We are strengthening our Underwriting team here at Norwegian Hull Club, and developing the talent of tomorrow is an important part of our business strategy. We're looking for ambitious, curious-minded people who have strong analytical skills and the ability to spot opportunities to join us as Assistant Underwriters.

What you'll do

As an Assistant Underwriter, you will start by learning the ropes before gradually contributing to your team’s underwriting activities. You will be provided with all the training and knowledge needed to become a solid, competent underwriter. During this training period, you will learn how to perform such tasks as registering risks, handling documents, as well as updating policies when conditions have changed.

You will have plenty of contact with our network of brokers and clients, building great business relationships. After a while, you will be armed with the know-how, skills and relationships needed to work independently with both existing and potential clients as part of our dynamic, international team.

Requirements

  • You must hold a Bachelor's degree in a business-relevant subject.
  • You must be fluent in both English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
  • You should possess strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset.
  • You must be a self-driven and motivated team player with a positive attitude.
  • You should have a genuine interest in the maritime world and building professional relationships.
