KSAT Hyper seeks Head of Regulatory & Spectrum Affairs

KSAT (Kongsberg Satellite Services) is building Hyper, a next-generation communications initiative delivering a real-time, global relay network by integrating a LEO satellite constellation with KSAT's extensive ground infrastructure. We are hiring a Head of Regulatory & Spectrum Affairs to own every aspect of spectrum access, licensing, coordination, and compliance for the Hyper service.

Your Role

As Head of Regulatory & Spectrum Affairs, you will:

• Serve as Hyper's lead interface to international and national regulators (ITU, Nkom, FCC, ARCEP, CEPT).
• Own all filings, coordination, licensing, and compliance strategy.
• Lead and develop the Spectrum Engineer and build out the regulatory/spectrum function.
• Partner closely with KSAT's central spectrum team and Legal.
• Translate regulatory constraints into actionable system requirements.
• Represent Hyper in ITU-R study groups, regional consultations, and bilateral negotiations.
• Advise the VP and technical leadership on frequency strategy and regulatory risk.
