Technical Engineer
We are looking for a talented Technical Engineer to join our team in Bergen or Aberdeen. Main Tasks
- Design and drafting in CAD
- Structural and integrity calculations using FEA
- Development of new products and technical improvements to existing products
- Coordinate and perform workshop testing and product validation
- Documentation of development projects in compliance with relevant industry standards
- Provide technical specifications for procurement and follow up manufacturing activities and vendors, ensuring documentation compliance with quality requirements
- Participate in Quality and HSE activities within the department, including handling non-conformances and improvement suggestions
- Participate in workshop testing and validation of products
Requirements
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in a relevant engineering discipline, with more than 5 years of relevant experience in design and drafting.
- Relevant experience and competence may compensate for a lack of formal qualifications.
- Innovative, systematic, self-motivated, and analytical, with the ability to see tasks through to completion while collaborating effectively with others.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
