IT Cloud Platform Engineer
Technology and data is a key driver to AquaGen’s development across production, research and administration. To strengthen our internal expertise, we are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer. In this newly established role, you will develop and manage infrastructure and analytics solutions in AWS, Azure and our Fabric data platform.
Acting as a technical link between internal expert teams and external technology partners, you will ensure that Aquagen’s platforms, dataflows and integrations support research, production, reporting and datasharing in a secure and efficient way.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage cloud, analytic and platform infrastructure across AWS, Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and maintain integrations and technical interfaces between systems, data sources, cloud platforms and production-related solutions.
- Technical responsibility for our R&D department compute and analytics platform on AWS.
- Drive standardization, automation and continuous improvement through shell scripting (e.g. Bash) and Infrastructure as Code.
- Contribute to secure, stable and auditable operations through configuration management, technical documentation, change control and risk-mitigation measures.
- Work closely with R&D, production, specialist functions and external technology partners to develop effective cloud, data and analytics solutions.

Requirements
- Higher education in IT or a related technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid experience with cloud and platform technology, primarily AWS and secondarily Azure.
- Experience with integrations, enterprise systems and service integration.
- Experience with secure configuration and cloud/platform security.
- Experience with automation, scripting, programming or Infrastructure as Code.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams in English.
