Head of Service MARINE - EUROPE North

The Head of Service Marine North Europe is responsible for establishing, leading, and developing Palfinger Marine’s Service Region across the North Sea area. The role ensures operational excellence, profitability and customer satisfaction across multiple service locations. This position drives sustainable growth through effective leadership, regional synergy and strategic expansion in Northern Europe.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee regional operations and service delivery across all locations to ensure alignment with corporate strategy, compliance with industry standards and efficient execution of Marine Service activities.
- Take full P&L responsibility for the region, leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance profitability, optimize resource use and strengthen financial performance.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams, promoting a culture of accountability, technical excellence and customer focus through targeted coaching and performance.
- Foster strong collaboration between service offices, After Sales/Product Lines, and New Equipment Sales to build a unified regional approach and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Drive strategic regional growth, identifying and developing new opportunities in emerging Northern European markets while ensuring service readiness for advanced marine and offshore products.

Requirements
- You must have at least 10 years of extensive experience in Marine Operations, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- You should hold an educational background in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- You must possess proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams across multiple locations and cultures.
- You need strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L accountability, and driving operational efficiency.
- You must have excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, customer-centric mindset.
