Computational Designer - Architecture \& AI

Visoid is looking for a Computational Designer to join our product team in Oslo. We are building a web-based application that helps architects speed up their design workflows and create high-quality visualizations. As our internal architect, you will bridge the gap between industry needs and technical development, helping us reinvent how design professionals communicate their work.

Your role

You will work closely with our product designers and engineers to translate architectural challenges into effective software solutions. You will act as an internal power user, testing new features and exploring how the latest AI models and parametric workflows can optimize the design process.

Key responsibilities

• Explore and test technical solutions, including generative AI models and parametric workflows.
• Serve as the internal voice of the architecture industry to guide product development.
• Prioritize features and challenges to ensure our tool meets user requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and content teams.

Who you are

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design or computational design at a leading firm.
• Professional experience with generative AI, such as ComfyUI workflows or training LoRAs.
• Proficiency in BIM, 3D modeling, and visualization software (e.g., Archicad, Revit, 3ds Max, Enscape).
• Experience building design workflow tools, such as in Grasshopper.
