Wector Yachting AS is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fiberglass Technician to join our growing team at Skjerkøya in Bamble municipality.
About Us
Wector Yachting AS operates one of Norway’s largest marine service facilities, including 9,000 m² of indoor storage and full-service workshops. We focus on fiberglass repair, seasonal boat preparation, and high-quality maintenance.
The Role
We are looking for a practical and quality-driven fiberglass technician with a strong focus on finishing work to ensure every boat leaves our facility in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair damage to plastic and fiberglass boats
- Fill, sand, and adjust surfaces to achieve high-quality results
- Perform finishing work and quality control
- Prepare surfaces for painting and post-treatment
- Assist with or perform painting work
- Assemble and disassemble parts when needed
- Maintain organization in the workshop
Requirements
- You have experience in fiberglass, composites, or auto body repair.
- You possess practical skills and a hands-on mindset regarding surface treatment and finishing.
- You have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- You hold a Category B driving license.
- You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
